Peek into JK (Entering KCD Junior Kindergarten)

Welcome to Middle School Prep & Tech Bootcamp (Entering KCD 5th-6th Grades)

Come to MS Prep and Tech to learn all the tips and tricks for the transition to middle school. In this camp, we will develop the Chromebook and google tools used in the middle school, review summer reading and math skills, practice organizing binders, planners, and lockers, and get to know the school by taking tours, following our schedule, and making new friends! Join Ms. B-C (5th grade Language Arts teacher) and Ms. Grant (MS Chromebook Coordinator) for a week of prep and fun before the school year begins!

Intro to Bearcat Football (Grades K-4th)

Calling all Football fans! Join Coach Sample for a fun-filled week on the gridiron! Each day, we will focus on throwing and catching the football, learning Wide Receiver routes, and playing a fun game of one-hand touch football. We will divide the grades when it comes to gameplay, as 1st and 2nd will be together, and 3rd and 4th will be together. We will be inside doing a football-related activity in an event of inclement weather. Please bring Cleats AND Tennis Shoes, a snack, and a water bottle.

Ultimate Volleyball Fun and Games (Grades 1st-4th)

Pass, set, and spike it; just the way we like it! This coed camp is for all kids that want to learn how to play this exciting and fun team sport. Players will have a ball with drills, challenges, and competitions that focus on serving, passing, setting, and hitting, as well as team play. We also work to build the essential life skills of self confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship into everything we do. Join Coach Stuber, Coach Ford, and Coach Whitaker for some great volleyball fun! Campers should wear tennis shoes, comfortable athletic clothes, and bring a labeled/full water bottle.

Peek into Kindergarten (Entering KCD Kindergarten)

Join Kindergarten teachers Adam Wilkinson and Susan Falconburg for a fun kickstart to your KCD Kindergarten journey. Become acquainted with your new kindergarten friends and our extended KCD campus. We will spend time each day exploring the campus, both inside and out, as well as enjoy getting to know new peers through activities, games, and movement. Fee includes all supplies. Kindergarteners will need to bring a change of clothes in a backpack, a water bottle, a snack and wear sneakers. We will be moving a lot!

Fabulous First Grade (Entering KCD 1st Grade)

One & Only Basketball Skills Camp (Grades 4th-9th)

This skills training camp will focus on teaching fundamentals of basketball. The camp is designed to build basic skills in a fun and teaching environment. Campers will gain confidence in their ability. Participants are grouped by age, grade, and ability level, all campers will receive equal playing time.

Dinosaur Camp (Grades JK-4th)

Calling all paleontologists! Do you know the difference between carnivores and herbivores? If so, this is the camp for you! We’ll get creative making dinosaur crafts and every student will get to paint their own dinosaur t-shirt. Bring your favorite dinosaur toys and we will include them during our dinosaur play time.

Day Trippers: Session II (Grades 3rd-8th)

Tired of the same ole, same ole? Wanna get out and do something really fun this summer? If so, join KCD’s Day Trippers Camp. In this camp, each afternoon you will go somewhere super, awesome and amazing! For session II, we will be going to: Bowling, Malibu Jacks, Swimming, Defy Trampoline Park, and to the Louisville Zoo! Admission fees, lunch and snacks are provided in the camp fee. If you are active, like to have fun and enjoy getting out of the house...this is the camp for you. NOTE: This class has a minimum enrollment of 15 and has a maximum of 40 due to bussing requirements.
