LOWER SCHOOL:

Bearcat Sneak Peeks

These events will begin in the library with a brief moment with Peter Huestis, Head of School, followed by a presentation by Mary Charles Collett, Lower School Director, about KCD’s educational philosophy and program. Parents will be free to visit the classroom for a “crash a class” peek into the classrooms in action. Parents will be invited to stay for lunch should they choose.

MIDDLE SCHOOL:

Bearcat Briefs

These events will begin in the library with brief comments from Peter Huestis, Head of School, followed by a presentation by Jerry Loewen, Middle School Director, about KCD’s Middle School philosophy and program. Parents will be free to visit the classroom for a “crash a class” look into the classrooms in action. Light refreshments will be provided.

UPPER SCHOOL:

Bearcat Chats

These events are open to 7th/8th grade parents, both current and prospective. Parents will meet in the Theater Lobby. Parents will hear from Peter Huestis, Head of School, and Kent Martin, Upper School Director, who will give an overview of the school community and academic offerings. Light refreshments will be provided and the event will end with group tours hosted by current students. All parents will need to register for these events.

Prospective Parent Night

This evening event will showcase the real nuts and bolts of KCD! Parents and students are invited to choose from the sessions that interest them most. Sessions will focus on academics, community, extracurriculars, STEAM, leadership, and student support.
