Admissions Events
Kentucky Country Day School welcomes your family to explore our vast campus and extraordinary array of opportunities. Whether your child is beginning the academic journey or moving from another school, our admission office offers several occasions for your child and your family to learn more about KCD!
UPPER SCHOOL (9-12):
Bearcat Chats
These events are open to 7th/8th grade parents and guardians, both current and prospective. Parents and guardians will meet in the Theater Lobby, where they will hear from Peter Huestis, Head of School, and Kent Martin, Upper School Director, who will give an overview of the school community and academic offerings. Light refreshments will be provided and the event will end with group tours hosted by current students. All families will need to register for these events.- Friday, December 8, 2023 at 8:30–9:45 am in the Theater Lobby

MIDDLE SCHOOL (5-8):
Bearcat Chats
These events will begin in the library with brief comments from Peter Huestis, Head of School, followed by a presentation by Jerry Loewen, Middle School Director, about KCD’s Middle School philosophy and program. Parents will be free to visit the classroom for a “crash a class” look into the classrooms in action. Light refreshments will be provided.
