KCD Arts Academy
All KCD Arts Academy activities are open to the Greater Louisville Community in addition to KCD students. In addition to private lessons in piano, voice, guitar, strings, drums, harp, and dance, the KCD Arts Academy also offers a variety of classes in both the fall and spring semesters.

Fall 2026 Private Lessons
A semester of private lessons includes a package of 15 lessons or 14 lessons and a recital performance.
Fall 2026 Private Lessons begin Friday, August 14, 2026.
No lessons will take place on these dates:
Make-up Lessons:
Make-up lessons may be scheduled the week of December 7-13.
September 18 and November 24 are also available for make-up lessons. Please contact your instructor.
Please note, due to the Friday, October 23 lesson cancellation for Bearcat Family Festival, a Friday, December 11 lesson must be taught.
Recital Dates:
Fall 2026 Private Lessons begin Friday, August 14, 2026.
No lessons will take place on these dates:
- Monday, September 7, 2026: Labor Day
- Friday, September 18, 2026: In-Service Day (unless privately arranged with instructor)
- September 26-October 4, 2026: Fall Break
- Friday, October 23, 2026: Bearcat Family Festival
- November 24-29, 2026: Thanksgiving Holiday
