Accommodations

According to KCD’s mission and philosophy, the majority of students will have their academic needs met in the classroom through a differentiated curriculum.  KCD has a high-achieving population and has high expectations for its students. The school strives to meet the needs of learners within this population.  In some circumstances, a student may require additional educational support or enrichment.  For students with learning differences, the school has the advantage of small class sizes and close communication among teachers and between the home and school. Each division at KCD works to provide reasonable, developmentally appropriate accommodations to students with documented learning, physical, or emotional needs.
