Funny, Silly Adventures and Wacky Races (Grades K-4th)

Get ready for some exciting, but unusual sports and relays! You will get to play battle ball basketball, backwards scooter relays, goofy golf, balloon bowling, and water relays (weather permitting). Join coach Stuber in this super fun camp where we will create our own new Bearcat Ball Game and keep everybody moving as we play together!

KCD Bearkitten Lacrosse Camp (Grades JK-9th) 

KCD Girls Lacrosse Camp is designed to provide age and skill-appropriate instruction to players of all experience levels. Whether your child has played for years or is picking up a stick for the first time, this camp will be highly beneficial through our focus on stick skills, teamwork, and FUN! Each day will introduce new skills and will involve drills, small group games, and scrimmages. We have a great staff eager to help your child learn the "fastest game on 2 feet"!! Equipment will be provided for those in need.

Science Fun in the Maker Lab (Grades 1st-5th)

Do you love to make things? We will be creating along with experimenting with science! Slime Art, Bubble exploration, Sunlight experimentation creations, and more! We will dabble in some creative cardboard and loose parts building too. Each day will include time outside to stretch our legs (weather permitting). Come create with Science!

Dog Lovers Camp: Session II (Grades 2nd-6th)

Do you love dogs? Then I am PAW-sitive you will love this camp! All week, activities will be centered around all things dogs. We will meet friendly dogs, make dog treats, dog toys, dog crafts, and play all sorts of dog-themed games! From tug of war, dog trivia, 4-legged races, and painting a picture of your own dog, you will have the opportunity to celebrate one of life’s greatest pets! You even have the chance to sign up for a time for your parent to bring in your dog to show the rest of the campers. There may even be a special guest speaker (and puppy visitors) from GRAAND, the golden retriever rescue. In addition, time will be dedicated to collecting supplies to donate to the Kentucky Humane Society. KCD would feel very FUR-tunate if you joined this awesome camp! Fees include supplies for making dog treats, toys, and crafts. Please bring in a picture of your dog, a drink, and a snack.

Pickleball and Badminton Galore! (Grades 1st-8th)

Want to expand your pickleball/badminton game or learn a new recreational activity? Join Coach Davis and friends to hone your game and develop skills that will help you rule the court. Players will develop skills and be appropriately grouped to develop their skills in pickleball and badminton. Please bring a water bottle and a snack will be provided.

Robots and Computer Fun (Grades 1st-5th)

Campers will have the chance to interact with our collection of robots in a variety of ways. We have Ozobot Evos, Dash Robots, Sphero BB-8's, and animal robots for a variety of choices. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to program, drive and even create obstacle courses and ramps with our maker resources. We will have time outside each day (weather permitting) and opportunities to complement our work using programs on our laptops and iPads.

Under the Sea (Grades K-4th)

Let's dive into the deep blue sea to explore the ocean and its mysterious creatures! Each day, campers will learn about fascinating sea animals and participate in fun beach games like octopus tag and relay races. We'll make beautiful artwork using colorful seashells and sand. Each afternoon ends with a delicious, shark-approved snack. Join us for fun under the sea!

Tie Dye Mania (Grades 1st-8th)

Spiral, Crumple, Bullseye, and Boxfolds are just a few of the techniques we will experiment with to create campers projects. Campers will also try ice dyeing and bleach dyeing to round out their creativity. Fee includes snack, dyes, and various items to add color too. Please bring a water bottle and snack will be provided.
