Think Ahead Chess Camp (Grades K-8th)

Spend the week with Think Ahead Chess and learn the game of Kings! Discuss tactical blows such as pins, forks, skewers, and removing the guard. Spend time focusing on World Champions, Endgame maneuvers, openings, and the 50 deadly checkmates. Puzzles and chess brainteasers will engage students at all playing levels. At the end of the week, students will participate in a camp tournament where a champion will be crowned! All participants receive a chess set to take home. Beginners and advanced chess players are encouraged to attend. National Master and 5-time National Chess Champion Abby Marshall will be returning to work with the kids this Summer.

Mario Mania (Grades JK-4th)

Power up your summer and jump into the Mushroom Kingdom with Coach Vertrees! Mario Mania is an action-packed camp inspired by the adventures of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, and friends. Kids will level up through imaginative games, creative crafts, and teamwork challenges—all designed to keep them moving, laughing, and making new friends. Campers will practice problem-solving and teamwork while having a blast in a safe, screen-free environment. Baking Bearcats: Session 3 (Grades K-5th)

READY, SET, BAKE! Come join Chef Jamie and learn how to make dazzling and delicious desserts such as Funfetti crazy cake, pizza, and more. Passport To A Different Country (Grades 1st-4th)

Each day, campers will "travel" to a new country, collect a passport stamp, try foods, play games, and make crafts inspired by that culture. Campers will learn simple words and greetings from every country they visit during camp. Get your passports ready as we travel to Japan and some other amazing countries!

Coach Sample would love for you to join him this summer for a week of fun-filled games! Each day will feature different games, such as basketball, kickball, gaga ball, four square, ultimate frisbee, capture the object, sharks and minnows, and educational board games inside, if it is raining. Bring your tennis shoes, a snack, and a water bottle.

Golf Squad (Grades K-5th)

Golf Squad summer camp at KCD provides four days of camp specific golf activities for your child to learn the technical swing mechanics (i.e. putting, chipping, full swing, etc.) as well as the social skills required to enjoy golf, the clubs, and golf course (i.e. vocabulary, etiquette, rules, history, etc.) all under the instruction of a golf industry professional. Golf is a very challenging and fun sport that can lead to college scholarships. So start early and start now...boys and girls! American Girl Doll Camp (Grades K-5th)

Cool Kids Wood Kits (Grades 2nd-5th)

Kids will explore their creativity through arts and crafts, simple woodworking, and beginner building projects using Lowe's Workshop Kits. Campers will learn how to safely use basic tools, follow step-by-step instructions, and take pride in building their very own wooden creations to bring home. In addition to building, campers will enjoy painting, decorating, and personalizing their projects, along with fun group games and time to move and play with friends.
