College Application and Essay Workshop (Entering KCD 12th Grade)

This course will introduce students to all aspects of the Common Application. Students will complete all the sections of the application, including the biographical section, activities and leadership resume, and personal statement. Students will think about how to make their writing creative and persuasive. They will brainstorm, outline, organize, and formulate a game plan for the essay topics for their desired colleges. One day, admissions counselors from several different colleges will attend the course to help students revise their essays. Students should bring their laptops.
