The Fine Arts Academy offers private instruction in dance, guitar, piano, drums, voice, and strings as well as a range of small group and performing arts classes.
The Fine Arts Academy also includes the Young Strings program, an instrumental strings program for violin and cello students in grades 1–4. The program takes place during the regular school day and occasionally after school. Older students who are interested in pursuing strings may participate in the Middle School String Orchestra and the Upper School Orchestra.
The Young Strings program is directed by James Racine, who has performed with the Lexington Philharmonic Orhestra, the Louisville Bach Society, and the Louisville Orchestra. Mr. Racine also writes and records music under the name Maestro J.
