Lowry Watkins Jr. ’64 honored at home baseball game
On May 7, KCD welcomed a special guest to our home baseball game vs. Whitefield. Mr. Lowry Watkins Jr., a 1964 graduate of KCD predecessor Aquinas Preparatory School, threw out the first pitch. Mr. Watkins is a former baseball player as well as a generous KCD supporter who has made a lasting impact on this school over many years. In addition to establishing a student scholarship fund, Mr. Watkins has established endowments to benefit the tennis, baseball, and soccer programs, as well as the library. Mr. Watkins also received KCD's 2011 Exceptional Service Award. We are proud to honor Mr. Lowry Watkins Jr. ’64 and to thank him for his generosity and support. Congrats to the Bearcats on a 16-1 victory!
