Grammy award-winning singer holds master class for KCD students
Singer Lisa Fischer has won a Grammy and performed with artists such as Tina Turner, Sting, and the Rolling Stones. Last week, she was in Louisville to perform at the KCD Theater. She also came to KCD to lead a master class for our students.
Middle and upper schoolers performed for Ms. Fischer and received feedback on technique and performance skills as well as insight into a career in the performing arts.
The event was free and open to both KCD students and parents. The student performers were Danny Moriarty, Maddie Touma, Eliza Snyder, and Jake Latts.
This master class was the first in a series of master classes and residencies for our students and was generously sponsored by the Fine Arts Guild.
