Middle School Community Service Club collects food for Dare to Care
The Middle School Community Service Club led a school-wide project to collect “protein rich” food items for Dare to Care, with the goal of delivering the food by Thanksgiving Eve.
Collection bins were located in the Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. Between November 15-19, as a community we were able to collect 726 total items. Way to go, Bearcats!
The Dare to Care Food Bank was created after the tragic loss of nine-year-old Bobby Ellis to malnutrition 52 years ago on Thanksgiving Eve.
