Tara Kuo ’31 places 2nd in state-level music composition

Join us in celebrating Tara Kuo ’31 for her amazing success at the Junior Composers Contest sponsored by the Kentucky Federation of Music Clubs. Tara took home 2nd place in her division for the entire state of Kentucky!
Writing music is no small task—it takes a mix of technical skill and a whole lot of heart. Not only did she receive a Certificate of Merit and high marks from the judges, but her piece is now moving on to the regional chairperson for the next stage of the competition!
