Eighth Grade English Teacher

KCD has an opening for a full-time eighth grade English teacher for the 2021–22 school year. This teacher works with all sections of eighth grade English, serves as an eighth grade advisor, and is an active member of the eighth grade team. The ideal candidate has experience teaching English in middle school classrooms as well as cross-curricular experience. The ideal candidate will coordinate curriculum within our JK–12 objectives as well as addressing the primary objectives of our Middle School. Additionally, the ideal candidate has a demonstrated understanding of adolescent development. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organizational skills, a demonstrated passion for teaching at the middle school level, and a willingness to immediately contribute to our Middle School team.

A degree in English and/or significant teaching experience in the field is preferred.
