Parent forums for head of school candidates

KCD will welcome candidates for our head of school position to campus next week. This is an exciting and important time in the life of the school, and all KCD parents are encouraged to attend the parent forum with each candidate. There will be an opportunity for you to provide feedback after each forum, and we hope that many of you will take this opportunity to share your thoughts with the search committee. All of us know that schools are at their best when relationships and communication are strong. These parent forums give you and our eventual head of school the opportunity to start building those relationships and to start establishing strong lines of communication.

At the forum, the candidate will begin with an opening statement to tell you about himself and his work as an educator. Time for questions from parents in attendance will follow. A call-in listening option is available for those parents who can’t attend in person but would like to listen to the session. Call-in information is provided below.
Here are the details for the parent forums. Each candidate’s name has a link to his resume.
Parent Forums, 4:10–4:55 pm in the Commons
- Enter the JK–8 building at the gym entrance, the middle school entrances, or the main entrance to the JK–8 lobby.
- Parents who arrive early should gather in the halls between the middle school and the gym to wait for the faculty/staff session with the candidate to end at 4:05 pm. At that time, parents will be invited to enter the Commons.

Please plan to stay a few minutes after the parent forum ends so that you can complete a feedback form. If you call in to the parent forum and want to provide feedback, you can stop by any of the division offices the next day to complete a form.
