Business Office Associate

Kentucky Country Day School is currently seeking an associate to assist with duties in the Business Office. This is a full-time, twelve-month position working 30-40 hours per week. Anticipated start date is January 8, 2024.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the accounting clerk supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with various tasks in the Business Office.
  • Assist with Head of School’s calendar and scheduling of meetings.
  • Assist Head of School with the creation of itineraries and travel arrangements for visitors and interviews 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required; any additional degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience or basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.
  • High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to access and accurately input information using a computer.
  • Competent with spreadsheets, databases and computer systems, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external stakeholder concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
