LS Summer Math Practice

This series of optional summer math packets is for students entering grades 1–4.

MS Summer Math Practice

The math department believes in the importance of reinforcing mathematical skills during the summer. As a result, we have written a series of optional summer math workbooks for students entering grades 5–7, algebra, and regular geometry.

These workbooks are optional but may be valuable to students looking to sharpen their math skills over the summer.

Each workbook contains problems for students to work through as well as solutions to check their work. No calculators should be used on the sheets, which represent only a sampling—not all—of the material needed for each course. Reinforcing and maintaining the skills learned during the school year over the summer may increase a student's success during the school year.

Worksheets and answer keys are posted on this page. Students should complete and check the packet for the class they will be entering at the start of school.

The materials in these workbooks were created by KCD math teachers Ann Ponniah and Jennifer Williams.
