International delegation visits KCD to learn about innovation in education

Last week, we were proud to welcome a group of education officials from seven different countries, who were visiting Kentucky and KCD in order to learn more about innovation and technology in the classroom. Our seven guests, representing the countries of Bahrain, Greece, India, Japan, Maldives, Slovenia, and Tunisia, were visiting Kentucky through the International Visitor Leadership Program run by the US Department of State.
Our guests were interested in learning more about KCD’s innovative curriculum and our annual Tech Teach Learn Conference, which showcases best practices in integrating technology with the curriculum. Thanks to Director of Technology Jason Sedlaczek, who coordinated this visit and toured our guests around campus, including visits to several classrooms and the FabLab.
