The KCD MS Bearcats rolled to victory in their season-opening game against the East Oldham Patriots. The game was close until the Bearcats scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning. KCD added 3 runs in the bottom of the 5th to secure a 10-run victory.
Leading the Bearcats at the plate was Aidan Anderson who picked up 2 hits, an RBI, and a stolen base. Jude Gardner, Xavier Pulce, Reynold Fernandez, and Jonah Feller each added a hit. Garlove reached base 4 times, stole 2 bases, and scored 4 runs. Pulce and Feller each had RBIs. Feller, Gardner, and Grant Yewell each had 2 stolen bases.
Garlove started on the mound for KCD and pitched a 5-inning complete game. He allowed 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned run, and struck out 5.
