Artemis Fund presents grants to Americana Community Center and George’s Scholar Institute
The Artemis Fund hosted its twenty-fourth annual end-of-year program honoring grant recipients, partners, and supporters on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Each year, our 11th grade philanthropy students research and learn more about the many non-profit organizations in our community. Over 70 community organizations were considered for grants and students interviewed five finalists. This year the Artemis Fund awarded a $7,000 grant to Americana Community Center and a $3,000 grant to George’s Scholar Institute.
Congratulations to our students and to these special nonprofits. We are proud to offer a course that provides such a meaningful opportunity for our students to learn about the broader community and further embody our mission as Citizens, Scholars, and Stewards.
