5th Grade Math Teacher

Kentucky Country Day School (KCD) in Louisville, Kentucky, has an opening for a 5th grade math teacher for the 2020–2021 school year. 5th grade is the entry point for KCD’s middle school. 

The ideal candidate has a passion for and experience in teaching middle school students. Preferred teaching experiences include emphasizing critical thinking skills in math; assessing student learning through a variety of methods, including project-based learning; and developing interdisciplinary projects that integrate math into other academic subjects. 

A degree in mathematics is preferred, as is a minimum of three years of teaching experience.
