JK students investigate Osage oranges

This week, Suzanne Hoffacker’s JK students used a variety of tools to investigate the insides of Osage oranges. They chose different tools to open them to see what was inside! The tools the students thought would work best were a hammer, mallet, saw, and scissors. During the “opening” process, students worked together to figure out the most effective tools to open the orange and noted their findings. These young Bearcats enjoyed this active learning activity!
