Lindsey Trager ’05 named Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach

The KCD Athletics department is excited to announce that KCD Lifer, Lindsey Trager ’05, will be joining us as our Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach for the fall 2024 season.  
Coach Trager graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN in 2009 with a BA in English. She married Whit Bradley in 2017 and together they share two children; Dylan was born in 2015 and is finishing 3rd grade at KCD, and Lila was born in 2019 and will be entering Kindergarten at KCD in 2025. 

“I grew up at KCD and have always considered the school and community to be home,” stated Coach Trager. 
Coach Trager has 12 years playing experience. While a student-athlete at KCD she was a State Champion (2004), play IFHCK from 2000-2003, played in the Futures Olympic Training Program from 2001-2004, and played Indiana Club Field Hockey from 2005-2009.

She additionally played Varsity Basketball, ran Track and Field, and played Varsity Softball while at KCD.
Her previous coaching experience includes, previously serving as KCD Field Hockey’s 8th grade and then Varsity Assistant Coach, Ballard High School’s Head Field Hockey  Coach from 2011-2015, and an Indoor Coach for IFHCK (U14, U16, U19) from 2010-2014.

“I am thrilled and excited to return to the KCD FH program,” stated Lindsey. “This has always been my goal. Now that my kids are older and my husband has stepped down from coaching high school football, I am ready!”
