Bearcat entrepreneurs publish children's book

Inspiring Bearcats, Katie Vonder Haar ’24 and Hailey Hertzman ’24, recently published a new children’s book based on their experiences as teen entrepreneurs titled, Squeeze the Day: A Journey of Two Young Entrepreneurs
A copy of the book—which was illustrated by fellow KCD classmate, Jill Tabler ’24—was generously donated to the KCD Library so that young Bearcats can enjoy it for years to come.

The book follows Katie and Hailey’s experiences from competing in the national non-profit Lemonade Day (at eleven years old) to running their own business, Ooh La Lemon. Their fun and engaging storytelling highlights everything from writing a business plan to selecting their name, products, and other decisions. The book also includes a glossary of business-related vocabulary words to reinforce the entrepreneurial lessons of the book.
