Minhal Nazeer ’24 selected for United States Senate Youth Program

Congratulations to Minhal Nazeer ’24 on being selected for the United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP)! Minhal is one of only two outstanding student leaders to represent Kentucky among the national 104-student delegation. The USSYP will be held in Washington, D.C. March 2-9, 2024. Along with this achievement, Minhal will also receive a $10,000 scholarship for undergraduate study.
The USSYP was founded by Senate Resolution in 1962. Each year two of the highest-achieving high-school student leaders from each state, the District of Columbia and the Department of Defense Education system overseas are selected to serve as delegates to the program, through an extremely competitive merit-based selection process held at the state departments of education nationwide.
