Studio 2-D classes collaborate on new artwork in the library
In keeping with a tradition of previous Studio 2-D art classes, this year’s class created an artwork as a gift to the library.
The work is a mosaic that consists of eight, 12x12 inch wood panels. Each student chose a letter (from a hat) from the characters of “STUDIO 23” and created a panel in the medium and style of their choice.
This enabled the panels to function both as a large group piece and as individual artworks. The artists are: Bella Partin ’23, Kennan King, ‘23, Alice Robertson ’25, Kinza Raza ’23, Monica Mahoney ’23, Haley Schoenegge ’23, Caroline Bowman ’24, and Ashley Cho ’23.
Thank you to these Bearcats and to teacher, David Miller, for this contribution to our campus art!
