Student Council donates more than 650 books

In support of National Reading Month, the Upper School Student Council hosted a community service Dress Down Day on Thursday, March 10.
Thanks to the generosity of the Bearcat community, our Student Council was able to deliver more than 650 books of various reading levels (Early Readers, First Readers, Book Series, Chapter Books, Young Adult Fiction, and Non-Fiction) to I Would Rather Be Reading.

I Would Rather Be Reading (IWRBR) provides equitable access to literacy support and social-emotional learning to children across Greater Louisville. IWRBR is a nonprofit that provides reading mentoring, summer camps, after-school programs, family engagement sessions, and professional development for educators.
