Archery team competes at State

Congratulations to the Archery team on shooting in the largest KyNASP tournament in its 20-year history.  While competing against more than 9,300 archers from 433 schools from across our state, our archers represented KCD well!  
The following archers are recognized for being among the top 5 scorers on our team, shooting a personal best, or finishing in the top 30% of their division in the 2022 NASP Bullseye and 3-D Kentucky State Tournaments:

Bullseye Results
  • Parker McCurry shot a personal best 272 to lead our team on the bullseye range. He finished 311th out of 1,528 archers in the Boys High School Division and shot KCD's only perfect end of 50 points in the State Tournament. 
  • Ashir Ouseph’s score of 270 placed him 136th out of 1,936 boys in the Middle School Division.
  • Isaac Mathis was our third leading scorer on the bullseye range with his personal best score of 259, an improvement on his previous high score of the season by 34 points.
  • Isla Ford shot a personal best 249 and was our 4th highest team scorer on the bullseye range.
  • Reagan Johnson score of 241 placed her as the 5th highest scorer on the team on the bullseye range.
  • Addi Elliot shot a personal best of 219, an improvement of 14 points from her previous best score.
  • Stella Heggen shot a personal best of 213 points, an improvement of 30 points from her previous best score. Aisha Parachi and Ayaan Rallapalli both shot a personal best.
3-D Results
  • Ashir Ouseph led our team with a personal best 270 on the 3-D range to finish 27th out of 393 boys in the Middle School Division.  
  • Parker McCurry was our second leading scorer on the 3-D range. His score of 256 was another personal best, improving on his previous score by 32 points.
  • Isla Ford's personal best score of 249 was our 3rd highest team score. She finished 20th among the 102 girls in 7th grade and 91st out of 339 archers in the girls Middle School Division.
  • Reagan Johnson's personal best score of 245 was our 4th highest team score. She finished 24th among the 102 girls in 7th grade and 107th out of 339 archers in the girls Middle School Division. 
  • Isaac Mathis was our fifth leading scorer on the 3-D range with his personal best score of 232.
  • Bryce Jackson shot a personal best of 222 points.
  • Addi Elliott shot a personal best of 204 points.
  • Madeleine Sun shot a personal best of 191 points, an improvement of 74 points.
  • Stella Heggen shot a personal best of 152 points, an improvement of 63 points.
