Upper school speech team finishes in top 10 at state

The KCD upper school speech team recently competed in the state speech tournament hosted by the Kentucky High School Speech League. Congratulations to the team for placing 10th in the state! This is a huge accomplishment for a team of our size.
Congratulations to the following students who qualified for quarterfinals and semifinals:

  • Anya Sharma: Impromptu Quarterfinals
  • Sharini Shah: Declamation Semifinals
  • Laura Bache and Megan Delande: Improvisational Duo Semifinals
  • Sandhya Lohano: Oratory Semifinals
  • Erin Tabler: Poetry Semifinals

Finally, the following students placed in the finals round at the tournament: 
  • Minhal Nazeer: 2nd Place in the State, Declamation
  • Laura Bache: 5th Place in the State, Program of Oral Interpretation
