Congratulations to our Running Bearcats for putting their best foot forward at the Region 3 Class A Championships. The girls team took first place while the boys took second place overall. KCD walked away with five athletes receiving individual awards (finishing top 8 in their race) and two team trophies! This was an outstanding performance for the Bearcats as they advanced on to state competition on October 31.

On October 31, the Bearcats competed in the KHSAA Class A State Cross Country Championships in Paris, KY, and finished in a big way. The girls team finishes in a big way, bringing home the team runner-up trophy. This is the first time in school history for the girls team to finish as State Runner-Up! Additionally, Haley Schoenegge finished 5th place overall in the state after winning the regional championship the week before.
The boys team had a host of strong performances and finished 15th overall. Individual performances are highlighted below and the results of the State meet can be found within the links.
