Eighth grade students team up for a fun virtual learning experience
On Tuesday, November 3, the entire eighth grade participated in an online escape room that the eighth grade team created. This activity was designed to take the place of a field trip or retreat day that the students would typically have. Students played the game in small groups via Google Meet so that they could stay six feet apart while still sharing screens and talking through ideas. This also allowed each of our remote learners to be in a group.
The game was all online and had 8 total rooms that students had to get through - each with clues and puzzles related to a specific subject area (the Bill of Rights, algebraic equations, space, art/artists, music, novels, and authors, world language vocab). The students were excited to participate in this fun and creative virtual experience!
