Will Smith ’13 helps propel Dodgers to World Series win

Congratulations to our own Will Smith ‘13, who is celebrating a World Series Championship with his teammates on the LA Dodgers! After graduating from KCD, Will had a successful career as the catcher for the University of Louisville and was drafted by the Dodgers in 2016. Will has been a player on the rise for the Dodgers and was a key player for them in the World Series.
Will’s mother, Julie Smith, is the lower school counselor here at KCD. She and her husband Mark were able to attend the World Series and support Will all the way through to the championship!

“Mark and I are so grateful we were able to cheer for Will and the Dodgers in the World Series,” she said. “Thank you for all the support the Bearcat community has shown for Will. It is truly an amazing feeling!”

We’re so excited for Will as he celebrates this achievement and so proud that he started out as a Bearcat! Check out this article featuring one of Will’s many fine moments as a Dodger this season.
