On May 7, Honors students hosted the annual Ideas Café, where they shared their research with the KCD community. Each student hosted a Google Meet room where they presented their research and answered questions from students and faculty. This year’s café covered topics such as the history of salt, the writing system of Egyptian hieroglyphs, the role of makeup in enforcing gender roles, and a cultural analysis of mapmaking.
