Kindergarten’s Alphabet Feast emphasizes sharing and caring

Before the Thanksgiving holiday, kindergarten students collected food items for Dare to Care as part of their “Alphabet Feast.” Students were given a letter of the alphabet and asked to bring in a donation beginning with that letter. Kindergarten teachers Susan Christoff and Sarah Cohen talked with their students about kindness, sharing, service, and caring for our community—specifically mentioning Dare to Care and the idea of the food bank. The kids loved it! The kindergarten class raised $20 and collected 95 pounds of food, which was taken to Dare to Care to feed families in need during the holiday season.
