KCD welcomes Nick Soriano as boys varsity lacrosse coach
Athletic Director Dr. Tim Green is pleased to announce that Nick Soriano has accepted the position of head varsity boys lacrosse coach at KCD. Coach Soriano has been the assistant boys lacrosse coach at KCD for the past two seasons and brings several years of coaching experience at the high school and club levels, including coaching assignments with the Red and Black Elite (New Jersey) and the Louisville Kings Select.
Coach Soriano played high school lacrosse at Hunterdon Central Regional High School in New Jersey before going on to play Division 1 lacrosse for four years at Bellarmine University.
“I’m very excited to take on the role as the new head coach,” said Coach Siriano. “I can’t wait to continue to build upon the program’s strong foundation and take it to the next level.”
Dr. Green feels Soriano is a great fit for the KCD boys lacrosse program. “Nick has played lacrosse at a high level at Bellarmine University and has been a major asset as an assistant coach with our program the last two years. KCD boys lacrosse will continue to be in great hands as Nick leads our program moving forward.”
Coach Soriano replaces Andrew Wolford, who stepped down after two seasons at KCD.
