Science student help garden bloom

Third and fourth graders in Terri Giesel’s science classes have been exceptionally busy this spring cleaning, preparing, and planting the lower school garden. Students have planted sunflowers seeds harvested from last year's garden, a variety of flower seeds to attract butterflies, pie pumpkin seeds, and a few new butterfly bushes. Sunflower seeds and planting directions were sent home with third and fourth grade students. Please find a sunny place to plant them. They also have had fun identifying the Horse Chestnut Tree in the center of the garden and observing the hummingbirds that are attracted to it. If you find yourself on campus this summer, please take time to visit our very beautiful garden!
