Students use cookies to practice math skills

During ERB testing last week, sixth grade math classes got to hone their math skills using Girl Scout cookies! Students used their math skills to measure the diameter of their cookie, find the circumference and area of the cookie, and find the area and volume of their cookie boxes. Students also learned about the history of the Girl Scouts as part of the project. Thanks to sixth grader and Girl Scout Torie Grazette for being a big help to her classmates! Ms. Paschal said that her goal is for sixth graders to think about math every year at Girl Scout Cookie time!
