Each year, the students in the KCD Honors Program host the annual Ideas Café, where they share their research with the KCD community. This year’s café covered topics such as the ethics of therapy dogs, the ways money makes us happy and unhappy, and pyramid conspiracies and theories.
The KCD Honors Program is a challenging, two-year course of study exploring philosophy, science, and the humanities from a variety of perspectives. All students complete a minimum of seventy-five hours of community service, write a 20- to 30-page thesis, and take a two-year sequence of six trimester courses.
