Substitute Teacher
Kentucky Country Day School is seeking substitute teachers for the 2025-26 school year. Work schedule is flexible in that you may work when it fits your schedule! The ideal applicant will be available for pre-arranged and last-minute assignments for part or whole work days. Daily rate of pay $70 - $110.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assume duties of the classroom teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
- Follow lesson plans, all KCD policies, rules, and procedures to which regular teachers are subject and which good teaching practice dictates.
- Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Perform other professional tasks (within reason) as may be assigned by the Division Director or the Head of School.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required or currently completing a degree in Education or related field.
- Experience working with school-age children.
- Experience working in a JK-12 school setting.
- Classroom management experience.
