Varsity Girls Soccer Assistant Coach
KCD, a vibrant JK-12 independent school committed to excellence in academics, arts, and athletics, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Coach for our Girls Varsity Soccer program. This is a seasonal, part-time position reporting to the Head Varsity Coach and the Director of Athletics.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and running practices, games, and team events.
- Support student-athletes in their skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture aligned with the mission and values of the school.
- Supervise students during practices, competitions, and travel.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and athletic department staff.
Qualifications:
- Prior coaching experience, preferably at the high school or club level.
- Strong understanding of the game, player development, and team strategy.
- Ability to mentor and support student-athletes in a holistic educational setting.
- Must be available for after-school practices and weekend games during the season.
