Applications should be in the form of a written statement, no longer than two pages, explaining why you would be a worthy recipient of the scholarship and what you intend to do with the funds. Applications are due to Gentry Easley by 3:05 pm on Friday, April 14 (this is the Friday following Spring Break). You may submit your application via email, shared google doc, or by putting a copy in Ms. Easley’s mailbox in the business office.
DABNEY FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP
Seniors planning to attend a college outside of Kentucky or a private college in the state of Kentucky are eligible for consideration. The scholarship will be used to help offset the cost of freshman tuition for the recipient. Selection will be based on merit and need.
JAMIE PARSLEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship will be used to support tuition for academic enrichment opportunities outside the regular classroom such as summer programs. Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are eligible. Selection will be based on merit and need.
FRANK HOUSTON MILES AWARD
The award recognizes ability in and devotion to the field of science. It will support independent research and/or academic enrichment opportunities in the field of science (including summer programs). Current juniors are eligible for consideration.
