Deena Carey selected for Bingham Fellows Class of 2026
We’re proud to share that Ms. Deena Carey, KCD Head of School, has been selected as a member of the Leadership Louisville Center’s prestigious Bingham Fellows Class of 2026.
Ms. Carey is one of 52 senior-level leaders chosen from a highly competitive pool to participate in the 11-month advanced leadership program, which brings together professionals from business, education, government, nonprofit, and entrepreneurial sectors to address critical challenges facing the region.
The 2026 Bingham Fellows cohort will focus on the topic, “Tech-Driven, Human-Centered: Louisville’s Strategy for the AI Age,” examining how Louisville can responsibly leverage artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to strengthen economic growth, expand access to opportunity, and ensure people remain at the center of innovation.
As a Fellow, Ms. Carey will collaborate with other regional leaders to research workforce development, innovation ecosystems, public-sector modernization, and equitable access to technology, ultimately developing actionable solutions to help position Louisville for long-term success.
The Bingham Fellows program, established in 1988, is the Leadership Louisville Center’s most advanced civic leadership experience and has a long history of launching initiatives that deliver lasting community impact.
