Two students accepted into the All-State Orchestra

Kentucky Country Day School is celebrating a major musical milestone as Lennon Apple ’28 and Sebastian Martinez ’29 have been accepted into the KMEA All-State Orchestra—the first KCD students to earn this honor since 2019.
The All-State Orchestra is a prestigious musical ensemble, featuring the top high school musicians from across the state. Students secure their place through a highly competitive audition process. Those selected take part in three intensive days of rehearsals that culminate in a showcase performance at the Kentucky Center for the Arts.

This achievement reflects exceptional talent, dedication, and countless hours of practice—and the KCD community couldn’t be prouder!
