Kentucky Country Day School (KCD) has an opening for an Upper School Biology Teacher for the 2026–27 school year.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding and passion for the biological sciences and is dedicated to teaching high school students in a challenging and engaging manner. The position requires energy, optimism, and a commitment to fostering a lifelong curiosity, as well as the ability to teach challenging content with clarity and enthusiasm.
The priorities for the candidate include forging positive relationships with students and colleagues; crafting inquiry-based lessons that are rigorous, appropriate for high school students, and nurture critical thinking and hands-on laboratory skills; contributing to an optimistic and positive school culture; and strengthening our team by capitalizing on collaboration with other members of the Science Department and upper school faculty.
