KCD community donates more than 6,000 pounds of food to Dare to Care
The Middle School Community Service Club hosted its annual school-wide food drive for Dare to Care Food Bank the week of November 3-7. We are thrilled to announce that this year, students and families donated 6,656 pounds of protein-rich canned goods to the Louisville community—nearly double the amount donated last year!

The Dare to Care Food Bank was established after the tragic loss of nine-year-old Bobby Ellis to malnutrition on Thanksgiving Eve 1969.
