Eighteen seniors inducted into the Cum Laude Honor Society
Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2026 who were inducted into KCD’s chapter of the Cum Laude Honor Society on Thursday, May 21. The ceremony and dinner were held in the KCD Theater Lobby, featuring guest KCD Cum Laude alumni speaker Sam Loewen ’09.
This year’s Cum Laude Honor Society inductees are: Miller Bates, Paige Davis, Kennedy Doss, Abdul Draw, Henry Enck, Gage Fackler, Hampton Johnson, Zack Kassie, Christine Martin, Ammar Mayel, Asad Nasir, Lainey Reeves, Audrey Schonwetter, Grace Shen, Evan Smith, Caden Wang, Peter Zhang, and Ann Zhao.
The Cum Laude Society was founded in 1906 to encourage and recognize scholarship. Our charter was the first granted in the state, and KCD is one of only three Kentucky schools to have a chapter. Election to Cum Laude is the highest academic honor a KCD student can achieve.
