KCD Strategic Planning Survey Distribution

Dear KCD Families, Faculty, and Staff,

 

As we continue the important work of strategic planning at KCD, I am reaching out to ask for your partnership and participation in the next phase of the process.

 

On Monday, May 18, you will receive an email from The Gowan Group containing a link to a confidential survey connected to our strategic planning work. I hope you will take the time to complete it thoughtfully and candidly.

 

Over the past several weeks, this process has included extensive listening and research across our community. More than 70 interviews have been conducted with current and past parents, alumni, trustees, faculty, staff, and school leadership. In addition, multiple focus groups have helped surface themes, aspirations, and questions that are now informing the survey you will receive.

 

As we shared when launching this work, strategic planning is not simply about identifying short-term needs or compiling a list of ideas. At its best, it is an opportunity to imagine boldly the future of KCD and commit together to a path shaped by our collective fingerprints and one we can accomplish together. The strength of that work depends on broad and meaningful participation from the people who know and care about this school most deeply.

 

Your participation truly matters. The higher the response rate, the more reliable and representative the data will be as we work to identify priorities and initiatives that will guide KCD over the next several years.

 

 

As I near the end of my first year at KCD, I remain deeply grateful for the trust, candor, and care this community has shown throughout this process. I continue to be inspired by the shared commitment to this school and to the future we are building together.
