MS Head Coach 5/6 Girls Basketball
Kentucky Country Day School (KCD) seeks an enthusiastic and qualified Middle School Girls Basketball Head Coach for the upcoming winter season.
Position Overview:
Role: 5th & 6th Grade Girls Basketball Head Coach
Season: October – February
Time Commitment: 2–3 practices per week; 1–2 games per week
Location: Kentucky Country Day School Campus
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute structured, energetic practices focused on fundamental skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Direct game strategies, manage rotations, and model positive sideline behavior during competitions.
- Maintain clear communication with student-athletes, parents, and the Athletic Department regarding practice and game schedules.
- Ensure athlete safety during all practices, games, and team events.
Qualifications:
- Prior basketball coaching or playing experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to promoting a supportive, growth-oriented environment consistent with KCD athletic values.
