8th graders complete their Endangered Species Projects
Congratulations to our 8th graders who completed their Endangered Species Project presentations on Wednesday, May 20. This year’s first-place presenter, as chosen by his classmates, was Ayaan R., who researched the Galapagos Penguin. Ayaan had the opportunity to share his presentation with the entire middle school during a community time gathering on the last full day of school.
Our other seven finalists were Eden S. (European Mink), Elliott G. (India’s Wild Water Buffalo), Fay D. (European Rabbit), Kennedy L. (African Penguin in Namibia), Lannon L. (Andean Mountain Cat), Lucy S. (Cozumel Island Pygmy Raccoon), and Reagan J. (Malayan Tapir).
We are so proud of all of our 8th graders for their impressive work on these detailed interdisciplinary research projects.
