7th-grade students complete 2026 Euro Projects

Our 7th-grade students completed their Euro Projects on Friday, March 27. This annual experience challenges students to collaborate in teams over several weeks, culminating in engaging presentations that make the case for why their assigned European country should host the next Olympic Games. From creative websites and dynamic videos to thoughtful written pieces, students showcased their learning across geography, economy, culture, tourism, landmarks, and more.
The day began with small-group presentations in front of faculty panelists, who voted for the top four finalist teams. The final teams then presented to the entire 7th-grade class, who voted for their top picks across various categories: Best Presentation Overall, Best Video, Best Mascot, and Best Website.

This year’s winners were:
  • Overall Winner: Latvia (Sydney G., Riley C., Cooper S., and Omar E.)
  • Best Video: Netherlands (Ethan W., Clary Kate S., Evie P., and Kingston W.)
  • Best Mascot: Spain (William C., Reagan B., Amaya P., and Maneli R.)
  • Best Website: Portugal (Jane Z., Tara K., Andrew C., and Walter K.)

Congratulations as well to our three other finalist teams—Estonia, Lithuania, and Spain—who presented in front of the entire class in a close competition for the overall title.

We’re so proud of you, Bearcats!
