Ryan Shaps ’25 places 6th in Boys Cross Country State Meet

Congratulations to Ryan Shaps ’25 who placed 6th in the KHSAA Boys Cross Country State Meet in Lexington on Saturday, October 28. With a time of 16:56.10, Shaps’ run is the 5th fastest State Meet performance in KCD history. 
The KCD Boys Cross Country Team placed 9th overall, with many impressive individual performances. 

Congratulations also to our Cross Country athletes who were named to the All-Area A Team: Hailey Hack ’26, Ava Hurwitz ’24, Adam Dockstader ’25, and Ryan Shaps ’25. Additionally, Caleb Brown ’29 was named to the All-Area 8th & Under Team. We’re so proud of these Bearcats for their great work this season!
